Websites on Candida
It seems like there is too much information out there these days-it can be overwhelming! These are the websites that helped me.
http://roosremedyrecipes.com/
This website has a great section on eating on the strict candida diet. It also has easy declicious recipes for after one has gone through the candida protocol so one doesn't get candida back.
http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/
Comprehensive website on candida. I went there often.
http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=460
There is a ton of info in their candida forum.

This is a candida protocol done by two sincere people. I learned some good stuff here.

E-Books on Candida
I used these E-books:
"The Leaky Gut Cure", Karen Brimeyer
Good program on dealing with leaky gut.
"Karen Gordon's Ultimate Candida Diet Survival Guide"
Good tips on where to shop for the candida diet including food brands.
"Yeast Infectioin No More", Linda Allen
Very helpful especially the section on treating thrush, toenail fungus, vaginal yeast.

Books on Candida
I read everything on candida that I could get my hands on:
"Complete Candida Yeast Guidebook", Jeane Marie Martin and Zoltan P. Rona.
If you get one book, get this one. Its comprehensive and includes prevention, treatments, and diet.
"The Bible Cure for Candida an Yeast Infections", Don Colbert
This little book will quickly get you up to speed on candida and what to do.
"The Candida Control Cookbook", Gail Burton
Written by a gourmet cook and candida sufferer. It includes a nice chart on problem foods vs permitted foods.
"The Candida Cure", Ann Boroch
This book was written by a naturopath doctor that had candida. I like the section on introducing foods once you get over candida. I also used her detox supplements.
"The Yeast Connection Cookbook", William Crook, Marjorie Jones
Nice cookbook, includes a section on food allergies.
"Gut and Psychology Syndrome", Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride
This is the book for the famous GAPS diet. The most helpful part for us was the gut healing bone soups, which I still use.
"The Gerson Therapy", Charlotte Gerson
This book was written by the wife of Dr. Gerson who treated cancer patients with juicing and coffee enemas.
"The pH Miracle", Robert O. Young
This book advocates an alkaline and vegatarian diet for healing. I tried the vegatarian part, but found I needed animal protein for my body. This book has good tips on how to get lots of green vegatables into one's diet, which is important to getting rid of candida.
"The Body Ecology Diet", Donna Gates
This book goes into great detail on the body ecology diet which promotes probiotic foods.
"The Yeast Symdrom", John Trowbridge
Written by an M.D. that takes candida very seriously.
"Irritable Bowel Symdrome, the First Year", Heather Van Vorous
Written by an IBS sufferer, this book helped me greatly. I learned about soluble fiber and that helped settle down my IBS after the candida.
"Eating for IBS", Heather Van Vorous
Cookbook for IBS and other digestive disorders.
"Irritable Bowel Solutions", John Hunter
This books works to solve the reader's cause of IBS.
"A New IBS Solution", Mark Pimentel
This book discusses small intestinal bacteria overgrowth as a cause of IBS.
"IBS, Free at Last", Patsy Catsos
Discusses the FODMAP Elimination Diet. Good book, but didn't really apply to me.
"I Was Poisoned by My Body", Gloria Gilbere
This is a really good book on leaky gut syndrome.
"The complete book of Juicing", Michael Murray
If you really want to try juicing, you don't need a book-just a good juicer.
"The Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook", Macmillan
Big cookbook if you want to try vegatarian meals. Not really that good for candida though because of all the starchy foods in the recipes.
